Planet Merge – Build a Solar System

Planet Merge is a relaxing space-themed puzzle game that still requires calculation and strategy. Aim your shots, predict movements, execute clever merges, and protect your growing planetary system from the edge of the boundary. As you get closer to creating the Sun, every planet placement becomes crucial. Can you master cosmic gravity and create the Sun?

Gameplay

Planet Merge is a space puzzle game centered on merging identical planets. You start with small celestial bodies and combine them to unlock larger planets. There are 10 different planets to discover, creating an exciting evolutionary journey toward the ultimate goal: the Sun. Where you drop a planet affects how it bounces, what it collides with, and how the entire cluster of celestial bodies moves afterward.

The goal of Planet Merge is to continuously merge identical planets while maintaining enough space within the circular play area. Launch planets wisely, execute efficient merges, and prevent your growing solar system from spilling over the boundary.

Avoid Spilling Over

The circle surrounding the planets in Planet Merge is the most important boundary to keep in mind. If a planet drifts outside this area, the game ends. As planets grow larger, they require more space and can push surrounding bodies into hard-to-control positions. Therefore, avoid stacking planets too high or too close to the edge. Whenever possible, keep the planets concentrated toward the center and maintain necessary gaps around them. Smart Tips for

Playing Planet Merge

In the early stages of Planet Merge, try to place small planets where they can easily encounter others of the same type. Avoid scattering planets randomly across the play area; an organized layout gives you better control once larger planets start appearing.

Before launching a planet, identify the location of a matching one or a spot where it can connect with a suitable match. A strategic placement can set the stage for multiple subsequent merges. While small planets fit easily into tight gaps, larger ones require significantly more space—so don't fill every empty spot just because you can.

Controls

  • Left-click: Aim and launch the planet into the play area.
  • Mouse: Adjust aim before releasing the planet.
