Gameplay
Your adventure in Vex 10 begins at the Level Hub, where you can access various Acts and discover a host of new challenges. Each Act features its own unique set of traps, platforms, puzzles, and obstacles. Your goal is to reach the green portal, but the journey there is far from easy. Buzzsaws, spikes, moving platforms, and hidden traps can end your run in a split second.
Complete Acts and Earn Rewards
Vex 10 features 9 main Acts and a boss level, alongside Hardcore challenges hidden around the Level Hub. Complete objectives to earn stars and rewards. The better you perform, the more content you can unlock as you play.
Activate Checkpoints
Red flags serve as crucial checkpoints in Vex 10. Touch them before entering dangerous areas so you can respawn at that spot if Vex falls or fails. Knowing when to activate a checkpoint can save you from having to replay difficult sections of a level.
Gravity Reversal
Certain areas allow Vex to reverse gravity and move along the ceiling. This mechanic can completely change how you approach a platforming puzzle. Observe your surroundings carefully and time your gravity shifts to find the safest path forward.
Using Clone Portals
Clone portals in Vex 10 add a strategic layer to the gameplay. They allow you to create a second, controllable version of Vex to help overcome obstacles that would be difficult to handle with just one character. Coordinate your movements and consider how one character can assist the other in reaching the next area.
Freezing Time
Timing is crucial when facing moving obstacles. The "Freeze Time" mechanic in Vex 10 lets you pause certain hazards, giving you extra time to study their movement patterns and find the perfect moment to pass. Instead of rushing ahead, use this ability to create a safer route through tricky sections.
Rotating Platforms and Changing Paths
Some areas in Vex 10 feature rotating platforms that alter the level's layout. Observe the environment's movement before attempting a jump. A little patience can make the difference between a successful landing and having to return to a checkpoint.
Collecting Coins and Unlocking New Skins
